Tim Robbins and Actor’s Gang Workshop - September 11

Yesterday, students from the Advanced Theatre class participated in an intensive workshop with Academy Award-winner Tim Robbins and The Actors’ Gang.  Over the course of 3 hours spent onstage, students did everything; from discussing the business to learning a new acting method used by the “Gang”.

Furthermore, all theatre students were graciously provided FREE tickets to their performance of The Trial of the Catonsville Nine at Center Stage tonight!

This event was brought to the school as an education outreach program of the Reston Community Center and Center Stage. Countless thanks go out to Damian Sinclair (Arts and Events Director), Cheri Danaher (Arts Education Director), and Leila Gordon (Executive Director). And of course, we are SO grateful to all of the members of the Actors’ Gang (Colin Golden, George Ketsios, Ethan Kogan, Corey G. Lovett, Adele Robbins, Tim Robbins, Chris Shultz, Patti Tippo, Andrew E. Wheeler, and Paige Lindsey White). This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget!
